To live in SL, you don’t need to buy an entire SIM, nor to you have to own property. You can rent a house, and houses come in all sizes and styles.

Right now there are a few houses available for rent on the SIM I live on. One, in fact, is floating above my house, out over the ocean. It’s a lovely Skybox home, fully furnished with living room and bedroom, and a hot top outside.

You can rent this lovely little house for only 250L a week. The owners are great, very personable, and will help you in all kinds of ways. Be sure to tell them I sent you!

Outside the home, click the Rent box that sitting on the ground. You can get more information, or click pay to pay the rent and become the owner!

If you’d rather have your home on the ground, you might be interested in the Old World Cottage. This lovely house is next door to the Buddhist temple, surrounded by trees and a wonderful waterfall.

Like Skybox, this home is furnished. Old World Cottage has a cute kitchen, living room, and bedroom loft. You’ll need to get your own bedroom set, though.

When you’re done looking at the houses, be sure to click a nearby transporter . On Tarington there are many other places to visit, including Arthur’s Tavern where there is nightly dancing and fun, The Buddhist Temple where you can mediate or join Sutta Studies on Sundays, there is shopping, a church, and boats. You’ll find lots to do on this SIM!
